What We Collect

When you browse this site, the web server automatically records standard technical data that any website receives: the requested page, the time of the request, the referring page, your browser type and version, your operating system, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This data is used to serve the pages correctly, keep the site secure, and understand which reviews are read. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not require your name, national ID number, phone number, or postal address to read our content.

If you choose to write to us through the contact form on this site, we receive the message you send and whatever contact details you decide to include. We use that only to read and, where appropriate, answer your message. We do not collect payment details, bank details, or any information about deposits or trading accounts, because this site does not open accounts, accept deposits, or provide financial services.

We do not seek sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send it through the contact form. Any information you volunteer in a message is held only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of editorial correspondence.

Analytics and Aggregated Measurement

We use measurement tools to count page views, see which articles are opened, and understand how readers move through the site. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and may record the technical data described above. The purpose is editorial: to decide which reviews need updating and which pages are hard to find.

We look at this information in aggregate. We do not use it to build personal profiles for advertising, and we do not combine it with data from other sites to identify you. Where a tool offers an option to reduce identification, we use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the pages will still load, though some measurement will not work.

Aggregated figures may be quoted in internal editorial decisions or in general statements about readership, but those figures do not identify any individual reader.

Sharing and Storage

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to brokers, affiliates, or advertising networks for their own marketing. This site is independent and is not affiliated with Tickmill; the broker does not receive information about who reads our pages.

Data is shared only with the service providers that keep the site running: the hosting provider that stores the pages, the provider of the measurement tools described above, and the provider that delivers contact form messages. These providers act on our instructions and are permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by a lawful request from a competent authority, or to protect the site against abuse.

The servers and the recipients described above may be located outside Kenya, including in the European Union and the United States. Where data leaves Kenya, we rely on the providers' contractual safeguards for cross-border transfers. We keep server logs and correspondence only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Children and Age Limits

This site is written for adults who want to read an editorial review of a broker. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the contact form or send us personal details.

If we learn that we have received personal data from a person under 18, we will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent information through the contact form can tell us using the contact form on this site, and we will act on the request.

We do not verify age at the door, because reading public pages does not require any personal data. The age limit applies to any voluntary contact with us and to the use of the site generally.
